KFC improved negotiation outcomes with partners by unlocking owned media

KFC sought to leverage the value of the owned media they had previously been giving away to partners and suppliers.

Sonders forensic audit assigned a value to all of KFC’s owned media assets including physical & digital.

The audit and valuation were instrumental in assessing the true worth of the owned media given to partner brands and suppliers.

Sonder identified over $115m in owned media asset value which KFC could leverage in their negotiations with suppliers.

Whilst we leverage our own channels quite well at KFC, working with Sonder has been insightful in assessing their true value. We were able to assign a value to every asset, which made us consider our owned media in a new light. It is changing the way we think about communication and how we value our assets with partners
