Shell service stations have been monetized through media for decades on the forecourt and at fuel pumps. What was missing was the instore media being used by brands at the point of sale. 

Sonder completed an audit of the Shell instore media to establish all viable media channels and assert a benchmarked rate based on audience footfall and visibility. This report highlighted the size of the prize for Shell in relation to broadening their retail media network. 

In addition to the audit, Sonder created a rate card detailing a base rate, targeting premiums and seasonality premiums for all media formats. This has enabled Shell to level-up their media value to the market.
